Almost There

It's less than 2dys and we're off. Jitters. Overwhelmed. Elated. All of these emotions gather within me like a storm. As I drove from my office at 1AM this morning (after 11hrs of work!), an old James Cleveland song came to mind, "Peace, Be Still". The song speaks of the turmoil at sea when the disciples worried about their safety. If you know the story, you may know that Jesus was awakened from His rest. He simply said, "Peace" and the winds and waves were calmed. It is the way that our Savior works. He simply calms our jitters and fears by whispering calmness in our hearts. This is the awesomeness of our Savior!

23days to launch

23days to launch! Time is fleeting. Ticking off all the preparation list. Praying for peace. Trying to honor God with my life, my thoughts my all. Giving in to His will instead of my own. Pray for and with me!

28days

Countdown time....28days until departure! We're continuing to pray for our mission trip and for perseverance. Too often we worry about things. We are reminded that worrying is not trusting in God. Not trusting in Him is sinful. Thanks be to God for His grace and mercy! He is our Rock, but He reminds us that we must seek Him.

Jeremiah 29:12-13
'Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart."

Praying

Praying that God continues to move in our lives and that the team becomes one voice, one heart (His) and one mind. Praying that His purpose will be fulfilled through us and that only He receives the glory!

First entry. First time blogging. Hoping this works!
38 days before we launch. We've had a workshop with the author of our prayerwalk guide, Randy Sprinkle. It was awesome! God is truly working in his life. He gave us good direction and guidance.

I am looking forward to prayerwalking here and in Japan. I'm praying the team will be ready to go and spread the word of God in Japan!
